Carrageenan
Carrageenans refined and semi refined iota kappa type extracted from red algae belonging to the family Solieriaceae.
Description
They are widely used in the food industry, for their gelling, thickening, and stabilizing properties. Their main application is in dairy and meat products, due to their strong binding to food proteins.
For the manufacture of food products, excluding all retail. Limited use.
